The weather been hot here and humid as hell 🥵 I'm just getting over Covid to top it off. 😒 Still killing it on the rings I see 👀 👌 Hope you keep well and HH 😊
That's flippin Awesome ❤ I'm restoring my 77 Ford. I just got her running after sitting for almost 20yrs 😢 This vid makes me want to set up lights in the dark and get at her. 😁 HH and take care! 😊
Darn it!!!! Now I don't have anything to watch Sunday afternoon. :( Just can't get into your old Jeep.
I'll be back swinging soon, enjoy a few reruns just a little longer.
Kevin hope everything is ok with you and your Family. You haven't had any new videos in quite a while. I'm a little concerned. I know there has been a lot of bad weather out your way. Please get back together me too let me know if everything is ok. Thank You be safe and we'll.
All good here, just taking a summer break. I'll be back swinging soon.
My dad and my grandad was metal detecting a ghost town in the Colorado mountains, I was not helping dad at all, 8 years old kid in the way more than not, this hunt was back in 1957, dad found a gold watch with a bullet stuck in the center of it. That watch was Dad's pride n joy! Until mid to late 60s someone broke into the house and took Dad's coin collection and the gold watch, and his 30-30 Winchester! Nothing was ever recovered! ENJOYED YOUR TREASURE HUNT, THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
Great show Kevster I like goin back again !! Thanks again from Kevin in France and Florida
Love the flat fender Kevin! I have a WW2 jeep, a 1942 Ford GPW I restored. Have put 40K on it since. Glad you are keeping the paint job as is. You'll get tons of looks and waves. When I saw the hood scoop I knew you had a F Head engine instead of the L Head. Common mod. Enjoy! Ready for some metal detecting vids. Enjoy watching a fellow Texan detectorist.
Hello from West Central Louisiana
👋 Howdy
I appreciate all of your videos. Go have a good time doing your restoration. Blessings!
Thanks Richard
Awesome! I’m glad you are sharing this. I will miss the metal detecting but happy to see this!!
Thankyou, detecting videos will be back later in the summer.
Great project and it coming right along!! Thanks for the update!!👍😎👍
Lookin’goood!
very nice
Meant to say Jeeps of that time period LOL
Great Show Kev!! I Like the Jeep very much ! Like a lot of your valued viewers I'm sure, I was in the US Army . Where I live know in N.W. France during WW2 Jeeps just like that rolled threw here some of the old-timers told me ! I recently metal detected a nice US Military uniform button , D. Evans and Co. Mass has 13 stars and a Eagle carrying a Boat anchor in it's beak !! nicest button I have !! Really enjoyed this update !! Also enjoying some of your old videos ! Thanks again from Kevin in France and Florida
I love the patina yours has, I would clear coat it to protect it and be done. But that is me. It is very cool.
I used to drive an old mail jeep. Those run forever.
Love the personalized plate but don't know about that hood (lol)😅. What's the access plate on the drivers side floor for?
Thanks John, the hoods definitely a bubbas garage special lol... it's for accessing the brakes master cylinder
Nice, mine had a 4 cylinder flat head. I never had any problems with it.
Coming along nicely Kevin, you've done well. Have fun and enjoy it!!!!
Thanks 👍
Looks awesome great job. 👍
Thanks 👍
NEVER CHANGE THE BACK SOUND ...IT DEFINE YOUR CHANNEL !
Never!
My dad restored a 1964(?) convertible-top Mustang back in the late 70’s, when I was in high school. He loved that car. Thanx for sharing your rebuild and triggering some good memories.
love the bucket seats
Thanks, they sure easy on the back lol
That shifter will confuse most of the younger generation. I'm tracking my kids how to drive manual, as I drive one daily.
With High/Low range shifter, 2w/4w drive shifter, Over drive shifter, the gear shifter, clutch, break and gas pedal it's it's own anti theft protection lol
I love the WW2 era Jeep. Can't wait to see how it comes out when you're finally finished the restoration.
Thanks Ray
👍👍
Thanks Richard
Lot of work but worth it. Take your time. We ain't goin nowhere. And it sounds like a Willys. My old man had a white 56. That's when I learned how to swear!
🤣 I've done a little swearing myself but definitely worth it.
Very cool! ❤ Thanks for sharing
Thanks!
Looked at it and said wow not much rust. Then I saw the Texas plate and it made sense! That should turn out great!
It spent a big part of it's life on a ranch and apparently park in a barn when not being used. The under carriage is still solid as the body.
Like fine wine, it keeps getting better with age! Nice truck
Thankyou
That original look is hard to beat. Just like an old firearm. You are truly Blessed
😊
Man u don’t know how many old memories that video brings back. My 49 looked just like that 46. Mine had a homemade cab that someone did a pretty good job , it just didn’t have any doors. I liked to have froze to death several times back in the early 70s . It sure brings back hundreds of memories. Mine was red with the cab painted silver. Sure wish I had kept mine. Congratulations Kevin
Thanks Maurice, I'm looking forward to making some memories with my wife and grandkids in this one. Glad to brought back some fond memories for you.
Looks like comfortable seats….sounds great !!
Thanks Ken!
Good job i always wanted one . Need time for good paint job. but do miss your hunting.
Thanks Richard
Lookin good
Thanks!
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Chris
Left hand drive? Were all jeeps left hand drive in WW2.
This is post WW2 1946, the WW2 models were M38s, M for military, this is the 1st CJ model C for Civilian, and all vehicles made for the US market are left hand drive, or right if your standing in front of the vehicle lol
Very nice,original tires??
Thanks, and most likely not original tires probably reproduction tires seeings the Jeep is 78 years old, and I will have to replace them they are getting dry rot. Just haven't gotten that far yet.
Purring like a kitten 🐈
Looks and sounds like the work has begun. Thanks for offer to let us join you on the ride…
Loving it 😄
HAVE FUN
Keep up the good work. Looks great
Thanks Dan!

Are you restoring this to an original 1946?
Just restoring it back to a dependable, safe driver for me, my wife and our numerous grandkids to enjoy the hundreds of miles of back roads in my area.
